Partner churches

We always love to connect with new churches through speaking at events and services, or simply being told that you Stand With SOMA. But why not take it up a gear and show your connection with the Global Church by joining our SOMA partner scheme?

Each level offers a closer connection with a global partner facilitated by SOMA and an audit of your current mission practice to enable your church to become a receiver as well as a giver in Global Mission.

Learning cohorts

Learning Cohorts are our new name for missions. They’re set up as an opportunity and a process to invest in your spiritual life and leadership and help us learn from the Global South.

Led by inspirational UK based church leaders, these cohorts give you the chance to really grapple with the teaching and experiences you will get on a mission before you even go there. You will get access to all the SOMA preparation materials including nine video sessions covering our core teaching on the spiritual realm, with contributions from around the world. Your questions will be answered by our Ready to Go pack, written and online resources and back up support from our office. These will prepare you for the team and to enable you to play your part in bringing lasting transformation before, during and after the mission.

There’s never been a better time to see what God is doing around the world and bring back olive branches of hope to your situation. This could be your year for a spiritual recharge.

This comes with my special gratitude and appreciation to SOMA UK for sending a team. We were blessed indeed by the SOMA team’s ministry and much impact was made amongst our clergy, who were empowered and refreshed to continue ministry in the power of the Holy Spirit. May God bless you.
