Paul and Becky Harcourt are leading a team this June-July to Liwolo Diocese in South Sudan. More updates on SOMA Stories from 26 June.

Join us at New Wine Ireland and New Wine England
SOMA speakers are contributing at two New Wine conferences this summer with Richard Moy heading to Sligo to teach on deliverance, and holy living, while Nicola Moy is at Shepton Mallet, giving bible readings at RISE on 1 Timothy.

Going out in style
SOMA Pastor David McDougall is retiring from his role as a vicar this summer, but celebrating his ministry by taking a team on a SOMA Parish mission to Mpapawa, Tanzania. More updates from 12 July.

National Leadership Team inspired and challenged
The SOMA NLT had a wonderful day in June meeting at Stanton House near Oxford, considering how Canterbury Abbey could be a place of spiritual vitality, with Barney de Berry; a theology of deliverance, with Helen Collins and treading lightly in other lands with Kenyan born vicar Denis Adide.

Meta Youth: Recruiting and Raring to Go
Cohort 4 of the META Youth - an international learning cohort of 16-19 year olds training in leadership and mission - is filling up already for a November 2025 start. Apply for cohort 4 by contacting Stu Wright. Details of the META 4 mission trip will be announced at the end of the summer - but exciting things are being planned.

Led by inspirational UK based church leaders, these cohorts join 6 leadership intensive sessions pre-mission and 2 ‘take home sessions’ post-mission all facilitated by the cohort leader. These are backed up with SOMA video and written resources to prepare you for the team and to enable you to bring lasting transformation before, during and after the mission.
