SOMA at New Wine 2026

It was a joy to connect with so many SOMA partners and friends during New Wine 2026.

Each year, New Wine brings together around 13,000 people from across the UK to seek God, engage with his Word, worship together, and encourage one another. Throughout the week, we had the privilege of catching up with partners, sharing stories of what God is doing in churches and communities across the globe, and looking ahead to what God might have in store for the future.

We were also delighted that Richard May, National Director of SOMA UK, was able to take a few hours out of his sabbatical to lead a seminar on Discernment. Richard reminded us:

"We are in a spiritual battle, but we are on the winning side."

There was a real hunger among those attending to hear God's voice more clearly, to walk in his light and freedom, and to grow in discerning his leading. We spoke with many people who are already engaged in this area of ministry and who expressed a desire to connect with SOMA for further teaching, encouragement, and community.

It was encouraging to see such a growing interest and we look forward to supporting churches and individuals as they continue to step out in faith.

If you're interested in learning more about SOMA UK's training in discernment and spiritual warfare, we'd love to hear from you. More information about our upcoming training opportunities will be available in September 2026.
