We believe that prayer changes situations and transforms us, which is why it lies at the heart of everything we do at SOMA.
We are supported by a dedicated team of ongoing intercessors who pray regularly for the ministry of SOMA. In addition, every team member serving on mission is supported by their own personal network of prayer partners.
Called to prayer
We are a prophetic movement. This means we believe the Holy Spirit is living and active today, guiding and speaking to His people. We seek to listen carefully to what He is saying and to help the Church hear His voice.
We believe we are called to serve as part of the “nervous system” of the Body of Christ. Just as the nervous system alerts the body when something is wrong, we remain watchful in prayer for the global Church—particularly where believers are suffering, facing conflict, persecution, or hardship.
