META in Kenya

We have so much to report from the summer mission in Kenya…. more stories to come as we hear back from the team and delegates… below are a few highlights.

The team, who had spent nearly a year preparing for this mission on the META Youth training programme, served in two locations: The Provincial Youth Conference in Kisii and Mbeere Diocese. In both contexts they served in prayer ministry, led worship, connected with local youth and gave seminars on things they had learnt over the past year. There was also time to take in the sights along the way. After much prayer on the final night there was a real sense of breakthrough in Mbeere.

Team Leader Stu Wright told the SOMA Community of Prayer: ‘Last night was amazing, the Holy Spirit came upon the young people of Mbeere and worked powerfully 💥 and we had an extended time of worship and the young people on their knees crying out for God. It was very moving.’
