META Youth Prepare for Kenya

This summer around 25 young people from soma uks meta youth programme are heading to Kenya and preparations are already in full swing.

META, named after the greek word to go beyond, is built around the idea that young people grow in faith by actually doing mission not just learning about it Kenya is the next step in that journey. The team recently spent some time together in  person working through the different ministry streams theyll be leading on the ground and a big highlight  has been watching the participants write their own sermons for many its there first time . There's a lot of excitement around that.

To get there the group is fundraising in creative ways: sponsored runs and some are even running alpha youth in their own schools.

Kenya 2026 is going to be a mission to remember
