The Heavens Declare

The SOMA International meetings continued with a retreat at Saul Church, with National Directors Henry Blair, Mel McMahon and Kyle Spradley experiencing the blessing of a rainbow at the end of a full day.

The retreat was a much needed chance to take stock on the last three years of ministering together and apart. Through tough times and the good. There was a refreshing honesty and vulnerability as old friends and new came together at the most ancient church site in Ireland. It was a privilege to take part in morning prayer and hold silent space for reflection around Saul Church. Inspired on by St Patrick’s mission we made our way to his resting place at Down Cathedral. Henry Blair (SOMA Ireland lead), has been Dean of the Cathedral since 2025 and we we able to take time to pray over each other in that sacred space.
