Mission in Mbeere
The mission has continued in more familiar SOMA territory since coming to Mbeere Diocese. An action packed three days speaking to two day conferences of lay ministers and evangelists and touring six church gatherings on the middle day (Sunday) to encourage and bless.
It’s an inspirational place and there is grace on this diocese for Holy Spirit ministry and evangelism which has been a joy to see. It’s not uncontested and the spiritual realm and battle remains clear, hence both conferences asking for training in Holy Spirit ministry and deliverance as well as evangelism.
Tomorrow is the SOMA Kenya Board and Leadership meeting, and we are praying for joy and breakthrough. Its hosted by the Diocesan Bishop Rt Revd Moses Masamba Nthukah who is also SOMA Chair, who has along with his wife a tremendous gift of hospitality and encouragement - they’ve rebuilt their family home into a Guest House that can look after 10+ people, and the gardens into a retreat day sanctuary.
Been a full 10 days with much to learn from, reflect on, and praise God with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power in the teaching and ministry sessions. Hallelujah.
