‘and the lame shall walk’

Book Review: Former SOMA team member to Kenya, Geoff Waggett has just published a book full of his experiences of healing ministry, including on both SOMA missions and small parish contexts. Speaking to us today he explained how in his retirement in South Wales he still puts into practice of ‘doing something so something can happen’ by always praying for healing after communion at every service. Dominic Walker, the former Bishop of Monmouth, writes that “To meet Geoff is to meet someone whose heart has been clearly touched by God.” Andy Economides of Soteria Trust says “Geoff has been active over decades in bringing healing and God’s saving message to many. Read with an open heart and allow Jesus to work through you and bring his healing'“.

If you get a copy (available from Amazon) you’ll be able to read of the deaf hearing, and the blind seeing in Kitale, Kenya and compare them with similar stories from Wales. Just 90 pages long it will encourage and inspire you to press on to experience God’s power in healing ministry.

Geoff Waggett’s book describes his experiences on a SOMA team and how he brought that faith building learning to his ministry in Wales
