Youth Team prepare for Zgharta, Lebanon

It was a joy to meet with the delegates and parents this evening for the META Youth SOMA mission team heading to Zgharta, Lebanon. These young people from Asia, the Middle East and Europe have formed a fantastic team under the able leadership of Revd Stu Wright, who works as a leadership consultant and specialist. Over a year of training Stu has lead the 16-19s through an intensive discipleship process involving weekly input, videos and in person discussions. The SOMA mission will be the climax of the year, but not the end of their adventure as META Youth/SOMA will form an alumni association for these young people and welcome them on future missions.

It is a really special location to visit, and well worth watching this video from CMS to meet Reem and Emil who will be hosting them.
