South Sudan 2024
4 - 15 November
Join SOMA in delivering one of two youth conferences for under 30s.
Archbishop Justin Badi has asked that SOMA undertake a youth mission in each province looking at the issues of reconciliation and forgiveness in the aftermath of what has happened in South Sudan, and this trip is part of the outworking of this.
As a SOMA team member, you can expect a time of team formation and training once you have arrived. You will then help teach and minister as part of one of two teams heading to South Sudan on this mission. Team One will be in Central Equatoria and Eastern Equatoria Internal Provinces, and Team Two will be in Upper Nile and Jonglei Internal Provinces. It is an excellent opportunity to play your part in connecting the nervous system of the church, and you will come back to the UK with stories of the global Church that will instil faith and hope.
If you have any practical questions, please see our FAQs page. Please express your interest in this mission via email to info@somauk.org
