SOMA national directors meet with ++Justin Badi

SOMA International board meeting has got off to an exceptional start today as board members made up of the National Directors of six nations gathered. The morning dealt with legalities and formularies, but was punctuated by heart-felt prayer, sharing and prophetic ministry affirming and building up each member.

The bible reading from 2 Timothy 1 spoke deeply into our situation and was expounded further when Archbishop Justin Badi, our international chair and patron, joined us to encourage, thank SOMA for 44 years of service and to build us in faith from Acts 5.

We were then able to work though complex mission decisions around funding patterns, priorities, the complexities of the Anglican world and the needs and opportunities that arise for an Anglican mission agency standing firm on truth and ministering in the power of the Spirit to revive and inspire the church to evangelism and honouring the One who gave it all for us.

Tonight we gather with the team coming to Shyogwe Diocese on Sunday and appreciate your prayers for all the work going forward.
