SOMA loves BD7

The mission in Bradford continues to be full of excitement and testimony, which you can read about below. First though, team member Millie lives in Bradford, and has shared what “Love BD7” is all about…

The group has been prayer walking and doing outreach today, and yesterday evening there were two events which were opportunities for people to hear from God and get to know Jesus.

Revd Johnckson (SOMA team member) spoke at a healing event at St John’s, where many people went forward to be prayed for, and saw God break powerfully into their lives.

At St WIlfrid’s, Christian Magician Rod Williams showed off his skills and shared his amazing testimony (click here to hear it). One attendee had heard about the event earlier in the day from a Love BD7 team member, and ended up giving his life to Jesus that evening!

God has so clearly been at work, with the team seeing people respond to offers of prayer during outreach, and generous people distributing leaflets so that word of the events can be spread.

We praise God for the inspiration that this parish team are - many of whom have become Christians only in the past two or three years. The partnership between St John’s, St Wilfrid’s and St Columba’s is producing much fruit, and SOMA feel privileged to join in.
