Encouraging Egham

It was great to take part in a series on spiritual fitness at St John’s Egham last night.

SOMA was represented by Richard Moy sharing on stillness, silence, sabbath and sabbaticals as we make space for God.

This followed on from ministering to the Guild of St John’s in Cold Ash, Newbury last Saturday.

Both talks were fuelled with faith filled stories from around the world, and the account of an overflow in worship, at a nearby theological College where worship extended for 4 1/2 hours beyond closing time.

Richard’s book The Lion Roars was in hot demand, with one turning up the next day on a friend’s dormat from a pleased participant

Did you know SOMA now has five approved speakers willing to come and serve in your context? Book your SOMA speaker here.

“It was a pleasure to have you with us yesterday. Thank you so much for giving your time and sharing your gifts and expertise with our church family – it benefitted them greatly” Revd Esther Prior
