SOMA UK enables churches and individuals to encounter God globally.
Our worldwide ministry envisions, encourages and equips leaders in evangelism and the ministry of the Holy Spirit, releasing people into adventures and experiences of God beyond their wildest expectations. As we expand and grow we are looking to partner with 25 churches and 100 individual donors to make a strategic difference in God’s Kingdom.
What we do
SOMA MISSIONS
SOMA UK responds to the needs and invitation of local bishops and their churches, often in places ‘less visited’. No two missions are the same.

We bring international teams together to run conferences for clergy and lay leaders delivering teaching in the power of the Holy Spirit. Mission with SOMA is not one-way. Our vision is for “reciprocity in mission”. As we go to serve, we are also changed — witnessing what God is doing across the global Church. Our teams return home inspired, carrying stories of faith, resilience, and revival that bless and strengthen the Church here in the UK.

RAISING THE NEXT GENERATION
SOMA inspires and supports dioceses around the world to engage their rising generations in a dynamic encounter with God and deeper discipleship.

SOMA encourages the church worldwide through modelling youth ministry at international conferences, joining diocesan and church programmes as speakers and leadership convenors. We show how generations can work together and leadership can be called out in young people. Ouryear long transformational leadership programme META Youth raises young leaders from around the world with faith, skills and vision through weekly training, leadership intensives and short-term mission.
Your support makes this possible. We are launching three new META Youth programmes in Rwanda, Kenya and Ireland, as well as working with the META alumni for ongoing discipleship and leadership development.
PRAYER & FORMATION
SOMA is a faith journey that leads God’s people to depend on the Holy Spirit.

SOMA models and releases Holy Spirit ministry. Fuelled by prayer our teams come back with stories of God’s provision, supply, miracles, encounters with God and conversions. Through SOMA Schools of Ministry, church visits, conferences, and SOMA resources we share these stories and practice increasing faith all over the world. In our inspirational Community of Prayer prayer answers are never in short supply
Your support makes this possible. We are increasingly being requested to share the teaching and experiences we are gathering from around the world. Our small team needs support to do this.
What next?
We sense the Lord calling us to step forward in faith, but we cannot do this alone.
After a really exciting 2025 where SOMA has put down excellent structural roots, fulfilling a wide range of mission opportunities, we have set a budget from growth in 2026 that means we need to raise an additional £33,000. And that is just the start of where we hope to be by 2030 to fulfil the goals we believe God has given us.

We have reset the foundations for what is to come…
We are asking for money to help us respond to the many opportunities God has put in front of us.
Last year we were amazed by how God consolidated our plans and opened up so many new doors of opportunity.
This year we’re looking to build on that.
